Line Manager
The ideal solution for 70/100 V Audio Distribution
When it is easier to have one speaker run, for example if requirements on zoning are low, or the sizes of zones are very large, 70/100 V audio distribution could be the preferred solution. This can also be the case, if an existing installation is expanded, or an out-dated central unit replaced, where 70/100 V lines already exist.
Line Manager – all Features at a Glance:
- Conversion of 8-channel digital DSS bus audio into analog signals
- Distribution of analog signals to 70V/100 V amplifiers
- Flexibility to use any type of 70/100 V amplifier on the market
- Permanent surveillance of amplifier channels
- Fail-safe operation with 2 hot standby channels in case of amplifier failure
- Automatic switch to hot standby amplifier channel in case of amplifier channel failure
- Permanent surveillance of speaker runs through impedance measurements
- Use of pulsed 20kHz pilot tone makes surveillance inaudible and consumes low energy
- Error messages for short-circuit, ground leakage, interruptions of speaker run and amplifier faults
- Immediate disconnection of loudspeaker lines affected by a ground leakage
